Typical delivery includes 4µg of lyophilized plasmid DNA containing the synthetic gene in a standard pUC vector. A 100% correct sequence is guaranteed and all sequencing data is provided along with the plasmid DNA.
Free optimization of gene sequences
In order to achieve optimal expression of transgenes, the transgene sequences frequently need to be adapted to suit the intended host organism. Our service includes free optimization of codon usage, which can be performed using any codon usage table, either from your own or from a publicly available database. In addition, mRNA secondary structure and DNA repeats can be minimized, high or low GC content can be eliminated, and restriction sites can be selectively included or omitted.

How to order:
To obtain an obligation-free quote, us the DNA or protein sequences together with detailed descriptions of any manipulation or optimization that you wish us to perform. Please include the following information:

name or identifier for each sequence

whether or not optimization of codon usage and RNA structure should be performed
-
specification of intended host organisms or codon usage table (optimization can be performed for multiple hosts)
-
restriction sites that should be incorporated into both ends
-
restriction sites and other short sequences that should be removed or avoided internal to the gene
As soon as payment is received, work will start on your project. If you requested optimizations, we will email you the optimized sequence for approval before the actual synthesis starts. You can then also make additional modifications to the sequence yourself.
